Highlights of the 60th Anniversary

On Sunday, January 17, 2016 His Grace Bishop Maxim, together with his parents, Proto Lazar and Protinica Radmila Veselinovic, visited the St. John the Baptist Cathedral. On this day, Proto Lazar also celebated his 50th Anniversary of his ordination into the holy preisthood.

The Feast of St. Sava, the Great Archbishop, Enlightener, and Teacher, will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Cathedral on Sunday, January 31, 2016.

The day's festivities began with the Divine Liturgy at 10:00 am.m. followed by the Blessing of the Festal Bread, a Slava Banquet, and a program of poem recitations and musical presentations by the children of the Cathedral.

Sebastian and Mardarije Orthodox Institue which will be held at our St. George Serbian Orthodox Church in San Deigo, California, February 22-25. The guest speaker will be Fr. Maximos of Simonopetra. The theme will be "Virtue and Knowledge in the Theology of St. Maximos the Confessor". The Clergy Annual Lenten Retreat will be help in conjunction with the Orthodox Institute. Everyone is invited to come and participate in this educational and spiritually beneficial Orthodox Institute.
