Saint Sava's Day Celebration
The Feast of St. Sava, the Great Archbishop, Enlightener, and Teacher, will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Cathedral on Sunday, January 31, 2016.
The day's festivities began with the Divine Liturgy at 10:00 am.m. followed by the Blessing of the Festal Bread, a Slava Banquet, and a program of poem recitations and musical presentations by the children of the Cathedral.

Sts. Sebastian and Mardarije Orthodox Institute
We welcome everyone to register for the 2016 Sts. Sebastian and Mardarije Orthodox Institue which will be held at our St. George Serbian Orthodox Church in San Deigo, California, February 22-25. The guest speaker will be Fr. Maximos of Simonopetra. The theme will be "Virtue and Knowledge in the Theology of St. Maximos the Confessor". The Clergy Annual Lenten Retreat will be help in conjunction with the Orthodox Institute. Everyone is invited to come and participate in this educational and spiritually beneficial Orthodox Institute.

Christmas January 2016
On January 6th & 7th at the Serbian Orthodox Cathedral of the St. John the Baptist, parishioners gathered to celebrated the Nativity of our Lord and Soviour Jesus Christ. Thy Nativity O Christ our God. has shown to the world the light of wisdom! For by it, those who worshiped the stars were taught by a star to adore Thee, the Sun of Righteousness and to know thee, the Orient from on high. O lord, Glorgy to thee!
